This year this band is celebrating their 10 years. This was the concert for JSKD Idrija "Četrtki na placu". Piece written by Nat Mcintosh. Enjoy!

Blistering “Brass and Reed Band” from Cerkno is being active for ten years. They have built a wide repertoire, firstly reinterpreting also Balkan music, but lately concentrating solely to the hot New Orleans groove, as played by Dirty Dozen Brass Band or Rebirth Brass Band. Kar Češ Brass Band (literary meaning " whatever you want brass band " ), that also played at this year Druga godba festival, have prepared a special celebration of its tenth birthday. Its firework-like explosive sound will be boosted even more by a string of numerous guest musicians.

KCBB and Serbia

Kar Ces Brass Band will take place at Umbria Jazz Balkanic Windows Festival 2009 in Belgrade and in Novi Sad. We won selection competition last week among 30 bands. The dates are: 12.8.09 Belgrade, 28.8.09 Novi Sad. Here are some photos from competition in Belgrade...

UPOL Brass

UPOL Brass (quintet) officially started with playing!

UPOL Brass is newly formed brass quintet, which is part of University Symphonic Winds Ljubljana (UPOL). UPOL Brass is formed of five young and talented students of music, who comes from all parts of Slovenia. Their repertoire consists from all kind of genres, they prefer playing baroque and modern music. They play at independent concerts, exhibitions, festal receptions, music seminars, weddings...
Their repertoire list is still incomplete, thanks for your understanding.

Upol Brass je na novo ustanovljeni trobilni kvintet, ki deluje pod okriljem Univerzitetnega Pihalnega Orkesta Ljubljana (UPOL-a). Kvintet je sestavljen iz petih mladih študentov glasbe, ki prihajajo z različnih koncev Slovenije. Njihov repertoar obsega najrazličnejše zvrsti, najrajši pa se spogledujejo z baročno in moderno glasbo. Igrajo na samostojnih koncertih, otvoritvah razstav, slavnostnih sprejemih, glasbenih seminarjih, porokah,...
Njihov seznam repertoarja je še nepopoln, prosimo za razumevanje.
